PYROLISIS
Converting waste to value.
Pyrolysis is key to the new biomass industry. It converts waste materials to biochar using intense heat, above 500° C (930° F) without oxygen. Besides biochar, it produces syngas which can be used to heat the unit. It produces bio-oil that can be used for industrial energy.
AN ANCIENT ART
Pyrolysis is as old as charcoal. It burns without oxygen, leaving behind a valuable product, biochar, that earns carbon credits while improving soil and climate.
